All entrances and facilities at the National Gallery Complex are open as normal during the current tram works in Edinburgh.
City centre access is currently subject to diversions for road traffic.
Pedestrian access to the National Gallery Complex remains open, however particular care is advised at this time when walking and crossing roads around the Complex.
From Saturday 21st February there will be further significant disruption to road access to central Edinburgh, which is expected to continue for several months. This includes the complete closure of Princes Street to all road traffic. Pedestrian access from Princes Street and The Mound to the National Gallery Complex continues to be available during this time, although the pavement on the Gardens side of Princes Street has been closed.
We will update this page as more information becomes available, however for up-to-date details it is strongly recommended that visitors check the Edinburgh Trams website in advance of a visit.
